Dragons Den

Experience

I created a mock presentation that I then edited upon getting my feedback so that I wouldn't have a section about who I am or what I do so that it is more reminiscent of a dragons den presentation ( a sort of business proposal). I used the same colour scheme on my presentation as my website as the colour palette was designed by a graphic designer so I knew it would be easy to read for Claire who is dyslexic. I also added in plenty of images and not much text as the images would be enough to support what I wanted to talk about.

Refection

During the presentation day I panicked and tried to finish the entire project in a matter of hours because I had forgotten to let the lecturers know that me and my client had discussed having a longer deadline for the project so it would not be finished in time for the end of the class. I learned that I am not able to do weeks/months worth of work in only a few short hours and ended up having to present later than planned and was not able to present in front of the interior designer that was on the panel just for me.

Action

​

Over all if I were to do this project again I would make sure to communicate deadlines and changes of schedules before its too late. I would also explain my situation in the morning and not spend an entire day trying and failing to complete an entire project. Lastly I would like to have spent more time in my presentation talking about my research and the wallpaper as this is what I had already spent the most time on.
